A perfect city break. The 'York Castle Museum' has cobbled streets and narrow alleys of Victorian York. There are live actors in here too. Then there is the York street market which has stalls selling burritos and even dumplings. Near the markets you will find 'The Shambles' which is a popular street giving you the true 'quintessential British' feel whilst you shop and explore. Think J.K Rowling. The problem with York is there's just too much to list.

Try the 'York Cat Trail'. Just because it's called a cat trail does not mean its only for the cats on leashes, dogs can walk it too. It's free and great if you have kids with you. Transport Methods with Pets in York
